Shannon Grant is a Minneapolis-based Design Director. From small scale boutique agencies to large corporations and non-profit cultural institutions, years of experience have led to a focus within the realms of lifestyle and the arts. Her unique trajectory includes internships at Revlon and Laird+Partners, positions at Club Monaco and Brooklyn Public Library and volunteer work at the Museum of Modern Art and Philip Johnson’s Glass House. She is currently Design Director at Aveda.
Shannon believes in design’s ability to create inspiring and enriching experiences for brands and people, by distilling original ideas into clear messages with singular and engaging visuals. Her graphic design projects convey a deep appreciation for in-depth conceptual thinking, refined typography and meaningful tactile experiences.
Moving beyond the role of designer while still utilizing her eye for style, Shannon explores an alternate perspective on design by serving as a Contributing Editor for the popular design blog Design*Sponge, where she develops content and writes for Sneak Peeks. This weekly home tour column gives a look into the homes of countless artists and designers, furthering the dialogue on the intersection of art, design and everyday life.
