I created the logo, corporate identity and packaging system for R&G Candles. As a brand inspired by the creative spirit, sensory perception and the natural world, the identity was expressed through bold typography that is both classic and modern, complimented with bright geometric forms and an ethereal sensibility. The soft watercolor texture on the corporate identity is reminiscent of the flame of a candle. The tray and sleeve box was designed to be a special object perhaps left out for display long after the candles are used, perfect for gifting. The result is an elegant repositioning of a candle company’s brand that truly sets them apart from their competitors and increases brand visibility.
